Adult Educational Leisure Courses in Enfield & Southgate

Enfield and Southgate Lifelong Learning started in autumn 2025 when the funding from the GLA was reduced meaning that some of the WEA courses we had planned would be cancelled. We are run by volunteers and are a not-for-profit community association arranging courses of lectures for adults.

Our courses are over 5 weeks and are educational leisure courses such as art appreciation and social history. Each session lasts two hours, with a short break for a coffee and a chat with other students. Our tutors encourage questions and discussion. We have a number of excellent and popular tutors as well as dozens of students who appreciated the many benefits of lifelong learning and meeting others face to face.
